The Bothwell SPINin is attempting to collect enough threads in a FRIENDSHIP BALL so that it reaches around the world. For this purpose we ask you to send your thread to be added to our ball.

At the equator the world spans 40,074km, this means that we will need 40,074,000 people to send 1 meter of thread to acheive our aim. 

What Can You Do?

We ask you make a message stick (out of anything special & unique to your area). Our Bothwell message sticks are made from Huon pine, a unique Tasmanian timber. Write your name & a message of peace on your stick & wrap your thread around it. Ask your friends to add their message & thread to your stick. You can also simply write your messages & names on a sheet of paper to include with your stick.

Please help spread the word & continue to make this project a success to link fibre artists around the world sharing our culture for friendship, love & peace with fibres.
